Community Update for wk beg: 22/02/09
Me and my Community friends have been out and about around Halifax… Frank Watene and his team of community coaches are currently involved in a number of community projects. For the past four weeks we have been involved in a project called NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training). This week we have been to the gym, to FIVE in Ovenden for some cooking fun, We busted some groves at street dance class and finished the week off with a indoor experience of pot holing and rock climbing session. The lads and Lasses of the community staff have also been in Primary schools teaching Tag rugby and into Secondary schools to get the Girls on top form for Champion Schools…
Everyone is waiting in anticipation for the first league game of the season at home against Sheffield Eagles. Good Luck Lads.
