North Halifax Girls won the year 8′s competition with Calder High closely behind and also going through to the next round of the champion schools competition. In the year 10 competition St Catherine’s and Holy Trinity fought furiously for top spot with both of them going on to represent Calderdale in the next round. The community department were delighted to see a great number of the children from the schools Halicat had been in advertising the game against Leigh and we would like to thank everyone for coming. Halicat visited Eureka on Bank Holiday Monday to create some publicity for the Keighley game on SKY!!!! It was great to see everyone’s reaction to see Halicat in Eureka!!!
